MOL has decided not to close any of its gas stations in Hungary. The Hungarian oil and gas company had been considering shutting 28 locations following a drop in demand due to the coronavirus pandemic. MOL operates 468 stations in Hungary and has 2,000 locations in the CEE region. “Earlier, vehicle fuel sales at group level were down 30 percent to 40 percent from the same period a year earlier, but we have seen a significant improvement in the recent period,” MOL said in a statement. The company is reopening stations in the Czech Republic, Serbia and Slovenia.
