Polish fashion retailer Monnari suspended talks over a potential takeover of the KAN chain this week, after both sides failed to agree on deal terms. No further details were disclosed. Negotiations started in 2013, with Monnari set to add KAN’s Tatuum and Coyoco fashion brands to its network.
“These talks have already taken 15 months, so it’s time we see some results,” Mirosław Misztal, CEO of Monnari, said few months ago. “If we decide to eventually conduct this transaction, the first step for us will be to restructure KAN.”
