German based Montblanc has opened its first directly owned boutique in Prague. The store is located at Parizska 17. Fans of the up-market supplier of pens and watches previously had to do their shopping from a Montblanc representative store. “The Czech Republic and its capital are relatively small markets compared to other European countries and their metropolises but that does not change the fact that investors and brands are very interested in this market,” says Tomas Soukup, the head of retail for JLL, which secured the location for Montblanc. “Prague is attractive to luxury goods shops and the brands believe in the market and its potential.”
