Mytilineos to build 110 MW plant in Slovenia

In a deal valued at €118m, Mytilineos signed on to build a 110 MW heat and power plant in Ljubljana. The Greek industrial group signed the contract with the Slovenian state energy company Energetika Ljubljana. The scope of the project includes installing two Siemens gas turbines and two heat recovery steam generators. The plant is expected to reduce coal consumption by 70 percent. Construction is scheduled to begin in the first half of this year and is expected to take 30 months.
