NBG Pangaea Fund has completed the acquisition of the unfinished shopping center Plaza West from the Greek company Marinopoulos. Plaza West is situated on a 28,000 sqm plot of in the Lyulin district of Sofia.
The Greek fund’s 89.4 percent stake in the shopping center cost €23m, €10m less than the original asking price proposed in September. The deal has just received authorization from the Competition Protection Commission. Construction began on Plaza West in 2013 but came to a halt in November.
