Nemak LTD has developed a new facility in the industrial park of Győr in what’s believed to be a €30m investment, including a 3,000 sqm factory and a 1,400 sqm depot. The company received a HUF 1.2bn in financial support through the New Szécheny Plan. Nemak produces high-tech aluminum components such as cylinder heads, engine blocks and transmission parts for the automotive industry. The company provides components to Opel, Renault, Audi and BMW. Due to the development, Nemak should have capcity for 2.5 million cylinder heads annually, 500,000 more than its current capacity. The investment creates 200 more workplaces which increases the number of employees to 1000.
