The businessman Dan Ostahie, who owns Altex, sold the Aurora shopping center in Buzau as well as another 4,000 sqm project to NEPI for a total of €22m. Under the terms of the deal, NEPI will also repay a loan to Investkredit, an affiliate of Volksbank. Artin Slabbert, CEO of NEPI, said his company plans to reopen the Aurora shopping center after completing a few minor upgrades. It’s the latest in a string of acquisitions made in Romania by the listed property company.
