NEPI has postponed the opening of Mega Mall until May 14. The Bucharest mall was originally to open April 23. “We built our reputation through the quality of the projects we deliver and do not want to compromise. Both us and our partners want the people from Bucharest to walk for the first time in a Mega Mall that measures up to their expectations and to the human effort and significant financial investment that have been made to develop this shopping center,” said Sorin Scintei, project manager at NEPI.
Located in the city’s Pantelimon district, the 210,000 Mega Mall offers 72,000 of retail space. The mall will feature more than 200 stores, as well as an entertainment area (including a cinema, a fitness center with an Olympic-sized pool, a playground for children and a sports bar casino), a food court and a cafe area. Construction started in February 2014.
