The largest Shopping Center in Zagreb was visited by more than 1 million people in December, a record for the center since its opening in 2010. It’s the leading shopping center in Croatia with 200 stores. The plans for Arena Center, however, should result in further records, as it will undergo an expansion of 6,000 sqm. In addition, a new retail park will be opened in front of the western part of facility and will offer 8,000 sqm of retail space.
Arena Center was built next to the largest sports hall in Croatia, Arena Sports Hall near the south-western entrance to the capital. The owner NEPI (New Europe Property Investment) bought the mall in 2016 for €237.5m from Granit Polus Laniste.
