NEPI Rockcastle has started work on the extension of the Promenada mall and the future office building that will be integrated in the shopping center in the north of Bucharest. The expansion of the mall will add 34,000 sqm for retail to the existing 40,400 sqm, and the integrated office building will have a maximum area of 30,000 sqm for rent. The Promenada mall will thus reach an area of over 70,000 sqm, and the additional space will include fashion retailers, a cinema and entertainment areas, as well as almost 2,000 parking spaces for residents and employees. According to previous data, the investment will amount to at least EUR 165 million.
