Pařížská, Prague’s most prestigious high-end shopping street, has continued attracting new brands despite the economic uncertainty. The newcomers list, compiled by Jones Lang LaSalle, includes names such as Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana, Bvlgari, Tiffany, Rolex, La Perla and Cvstos. Others, such as Dior, Burberry and Salvatore Ferragamo have been renovating and enlarging their premises on the street in the city’s historic district. 2013 should see the opening of Azra, Omega, Armani Junior and Loro Piana. However, the physical limitations of Pařížská are steadily driving new demand to open outlets in nearby streets. Cartier and Girard-Perregaux have opened outlets in Old Town Square, Agent Provocateur and Cvstos in Kostečná Street and Baldinini and La Perla on nearby Široká Street. “The most sought-after units are at the beginning of Pařížská close to Old Town Square and/or in the flagship stores of renowned luxury brands. The rent for a 100 sqm retail unit in Pařížská Street varies from €125 to €140 per sqm/month,“ says Filip Kolmer, Senior Consultant at JLL Retail Agency.
