The Serbian town of Kraljevo will see the opening of its first retail park in December. The Czech company RC Invest from Brno invested €3.5m into the construction of the new center. RC Invest is the daughter company of RC Europa, which operates in Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria. It plans to open retail parks in 2019 in Vrsac, Obrenovac and Ruma.
This new park in Kraljevo will be located next to a new sports arena in Ribnica. Construction is now in its final stages and will cover 4,995 sqm when it opens along with 140 parking spaces. There are additional 300 parking spaces available next door at the new sports hall. RC Invest worked with the Italian-based contractor Martini Gradnja on the construction. Most of the units in the park have been leased to tenants such as Intersport, Takko, Deichmann, Waikiki, Delhaize and Top Shop.
