The Ptak Expo shopping center, offering 33,000 sqm of retail space over 45 stores, will open this weekend in the city of Rzgów, near Łódź. The PLN 90m center by Ptak Expo, considered among the largest in Poland, is part of the developer’s Centrum Targowego Ptak project. The center was completed a year after construction began.
Talks with grocery and DIY chains are nearing the final stage, according to Tomasz Szypuła from the Ptak Expo supervisory board. Once those deals are closed, construction will continue on the rest of the Centrum Targowe Ptak project, that’s expected to be offering 140 outlet units.
According to the agreement, all tenants agreed that they would sell their products at 30 percent off the listed price.
