On 21, June, a new 17,000 sqm shopping center called Sió Mall opens in one of the capitals of Hungarian tourism, Siófok. The HUF 5 bn investment was started in 2010 by Sió Invest as part of a city center development program but it will be finished by Erste Property Ltd. The shopping center has 8,500 sqm rentable space, and besides major brands like DM, Deichman and H&M (which has a 1,000 sqm store), there will also be a Sony 4K cinema, which the developer says will be Hungary’s most modern 3D movie theater. The leasing is being run by GVA Robertson, a Hungarian real estate company.
