Notino hits CZK 8.4bn in online sales

6 March 2019

The Czech online perfume store Notino recorded CZK 8.4bn in revenues last year, an 18.5 percent jump from 2017 and its highest ever figure. Having begun in the Czech Republic in 2004, the company now produces just 18 percent of its turnover in the country. Last year it was delivering to 22 European countries and was operating physical stores in Germany, Poland, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia (along with the Czech Republic). Notina’s sales director Zbyněk Kocian told the online news portal CzechCrunch that the perfumes remain the most often ordered good. “Last year we sold 6 million pieces,” he said. On average, the company is sending out 25,000 packages per day, a number that quadruples around Christmas and hit 301,000 during Black Friday.
