OBI EXTENDS LEASE AGREEMENT AT KRAKOWSKA MOSAIKA GALLERY
The popular DIY and gardening store will remain in its current location for at least the next 15 years.
OBI has been present in Galeria Mozaika in Kraków for many years and has become a permanent fixture in the district’s commercial landscape, becoming one of its recognisable landmarks. Customers of the Kraków shopping mall and residents of the surrounding neighbourhood appreciate the place as an attractive retail destination, which certainly contributed to the brand’s decision to stay in this location for the next few years.
In the negotiation process, the owner of the Gallery was represented by BNP Paribas Real Esta-te Poland, which is responsible for the lease and management and marketing of Mozaika. The lease transaction was finalised by Anna Pływacz, Director of Retail Leasing. Legal support in the negotiations was provided by DLP Duch / Lisicki & Partners law firm.
“It is worth emphasising that the entire negotiation process took place in a professional and pleasant atmosphere and ended successfully. I would like to express my sincere thanks to all those involved. Cooperation was a key element of the process and the flexibility of both parties contributed to the effective conclusion of the negotiations. We are glad that OBI remains among the tenants of Kraków’s Galeria Mozaika and we look forward to the coming years of cooperation and joint development,” emphasises Anna Pływacz, Head of Retail Leasing at BNP Paribas Real Estate Poland.
“Galeria Mozaika has been operating in its new look for two years now and is already fully commercialised. The extension of the contract with the OBI brand confirms the excellent location and positioning of the Gallery. OBI is our long-term, trusted partner and tenant, with whom we cooperate in an exemplary manner. This is exemplified, for example, by the involvement of OBI’s employees in the charity events organized by us (such as those organized at the University Children’s Hospital in Kraków), which build our identity in the Krakow district of Bieżanów-Prokocim, also serving the local community,” adds Joanna Kwolek, Property Manager and Director of Galeria Mozaika in Kraków.
