An affiliate of Miami-based Orion Real Estate Group has submitted plans to redevelop the former Winn-Dixie plaza at 4400 Hoffner Ave. in Orlando. Located in Southeast community of Belle Isle, the scheme is divided into three lots that the developers hope to fill with new shops, a gas station and a grocery store. Orion Real Estate bought the 7 acre site in June of this year for $2.35 million. Winn-Dixie Plaza is currently undergoing demolition to allow work to start on the first out parcel in October.
