Hungarian banking group OTP finalized its acquisition of Societe Generale in Albania. OTP is now the sole owner of the French banking group’s Albanian unit. Societe Generale Albania is the fifth largest bank in the country with a 6-percent market share. OTP Group operates in 10 countries across Central and Eastern Europe. In January, it acquired the Bulgarian subsidiary of Societe Generale.
