A bomb threat made against the Palladium shopping center forced police to evacuate hundreds of visitors to the building late Wednesday afternoon. Bomb squads were called in and police surrounded the building, restricting access to pedestrians. A police spokesman said the threat claimed that an explosive device had been paced in the building and that teams of security with specially trained dogs were inspecting the entire building. Due to the size of the building, they were reportedly still combing the property before 11:00 p.m.
