The ParkLake shopping center, developed by Sonae Sierra and Caelum Development, is set to open on Sept. 1. The €180m investment will add 70,000 sqm of retail space in 200 units to the Bucharest market. It is currently 97 percent leased. “As our concept says, we want to reunite the idea of nature, family and shopping under the same roof and create a space for more than shopping. We are very excited to see this day coming up soon,” said Ingo Nissen, managing director at Sonae Sierra.
Located in Bucharest’s Titan neighborhood, ParkLake will introduce a number of new brands to the Romanian market like Forever 21, Play Park, Lanidor and Lynne. The shopping center will also include a 14-screen multiplex cinema operated by Cinema City as well as H&M, Gant & Lacoste, CCC, Springfield, Mac, Lego, Nike and brands from Inditex and LPP Group.
