The German discounter PENNY opened two new stores in Sărmașu, Mureș county, and in Săliște, Sibiu county. It thus reached a network of 317 units nationwide. The company’s plan is to have a network of 600 stores by 2029.
The PENNY store in the city of Sărmașu has a sales area of 856.45 sqm and has 39 parking spaces. The PENNY store in the city of Săliște has a sales area of 854.25 sqm and has 76 parking spaces.
In terms of logistics, at the end of last year, PENNY inaugurated its fourth warehouse, in Filiași, Dolj county. PENNY has also started an extensive BREEAM certification program for all the stores it is currently building.
