Penta Investments has gotten the go-ahead from Romanian authorities to buy 48 pharmacies in from the Belladonna network. Euro.cz reports that the price of the deal hasn’t been revealed but that Penta will complete it through its own pharmacy brand Dr. Max. Penta already owns more than 600 pharmacies in Romania and is the strongest player on the market, with the most recent deal having targeted prime locations in Bucharest. Dr. Max is one of the most profitable companies in Penta’s portfolio, according to Euro.cz.
