The Polish fashion discounter Pepco closed last year with business of almost RON 2.6 billion, 11 percent higher than in 2022 and invested RON 110 million on the local market.
The company almost doubled its domestic sales in the period 2019-2023, relying on the development of new units, but also on the remodeling of some already existing ones.
The fashion discount format helped Pepco to quickly climb the ranking of players in the industry. Now, in times of high inflation, this policy is becoming very advantageous.
The group has over 450 stores locally and continues to expand. Normally, the company opens around 50 units per year in Romania.
