Phillips Edison Grocery REIT buys OakHurst Plaza

Phillips Edison Grocery REIT, based in Cincinnati, has purchased the Oakhurst Plaza for $6.3 million. The 51,740 square foot center built in 2001 is located at 9348 OakHurst Rd in Seminole. The center, which sold for around $121 per square foot, is anchored by a Publix Supermarket. Colliers International Tampa Bay brokers Mike Milano and Ron Schultz represented the seller One Bayshore LLC. Retail properties throughout Tampa are in high deman, according to Milano who claims that “Publix continues to be the preferred grocer and one of the most sought after investment tenants.”
