In an effort to pay off its debts, Polish State Railways (PKP) is continuing to offload its land bank, according to the daily Dziennik Gazeta Prawna reports. PKP’s portfolio includes 105,000 ha of land, 10 percent of which can be used for commercial purposes. Plots in Łęczyca, Suwałki, Zakopane and Ustrzyki are currently set to go on sale. According to Polish media reports, PKP plans to announce nearly 800 tenders for the plots it holds, worth more than PLN 700m.
