Planet Cinema has leased 2,000 sqm at the Platan shopping center in Zabrze and plans to start operations there in late October or early November. The tenant was represented by Cresa Poland. This is the Polish cinema operator’s third venue in Poland. The company is planning to expand into four other cities in the near future. Platan opened in 2003. Following an expansion and upgrade, it will see another 11,000 sqm of leasable space added to its 31,000 sqm and the number of stores increase to approximately 120. Platan is owned by NEPI Rockcastle.
