Bucharest Mall Development and Management will take over Plaza Mall Development and Management. Both companies are controlled by Anchor Group. The merger will not impact the companies’ social capital or employees. Anchor Retail Investment will maintain a 96.92-percent stake in the merged companies, while Fiba Capital Investment will control 3.07 percent. The goal of the merger is to provide more effective management to Bucuresti Mall in the capital’s Vitan area and Plaza Romania in the Drumul Taberei district. Both shopping centers are currently being modernized in an investment worth €25m.
