PNC backs Rockpoint in Miami shopping center acquisition

Dallas-based real estate investment firm Rockpoint Group has purchased The Mary Brickell Village shopping center in Miami’s financial district for $113.46 million. The 528,037 square foot retail center located at 900 and 901 South Miami Avenue and 911 Southwest 1st Avenue sits on a 5.2 acre site and has parking for 800 cars. The retail scheme has national tenants such as Publix, LA Fitness, Porcoa, AT&T, Regions Bank, Starbucks, and P.F. Chang’s. The seller was Montreal-based Ivanhoe Cambridge in a transaction that was financed through PNC with a $62.25 million mortgage.
