Poland raises PLN 3.7bn in bond sales

Falling short of expectations, the Polish government sold PLN 3.7bn in long-term bonds on Thursday. Officials had hoped to net PLN 5bn.
“The financial market had been expecting a better price, especially since the previous tenders were much more successful, ” Arkadiusz Urbański of Peak told the daily Puls Biznesu, adding that the sentiments on the global markets impacted the sales.
