Montenegrin company Adriatic Marinas from Tivat started the construction of a new substation at the northern part of the Porto Montenegro tourist complex. The construction is taking place close to the Adriatic highway in Seljanovo. The 10kV Substation will produce a total installed power capacity of 3×12,5MVA and is expected to represent an investment of about €3m. In this first phase of construction worth €1m, Siemens equipment will be installed. It will feature modern remote-control systems and an additional €800,000 will be invested in the construction of access roads. Two generators will be installed next to the facility for use when there is no other electricity available at a cost of €300,000.
