Post office and PKP goes on sale across Poland

1 August 2012

Two state companies continue selling off assets across Poland, with more than four plots planned to go on sale this year. The Polish Post Office (Poczta Polska) and Polish State Railways (PKP) are now looking for buyers for their prime land across Poland. Poczta Polska has been looking to offload a 10,500 sqm plot located at the corner of Chmielna and Żelazna streets for some time now, hoping to get PLN 170m on a deal. Now a new plot has been made available in the city Gdańsk, and is being valued at PLN 200m.
There are four smaller plots owned by PKP that are also expected to go under the hammer in the near-term in deals expected to be worth millions of zloty. In all, the railway company has a total of 15.5ha of land available in Jachranca, Katowice, and two plots in Szczecin.
