According to Czechcrunch.cz, one of the largest courier firms in the country PPL is about to roll out a return service to make it easier for online consumers to send back items they’re not satisfied with. It’s this type of convenience that’s helped global giant Amazon to attract millions of customers, but remains rare in the Czech online retail environment. The exception to the rule has been major players like About You or Zalando, but Czechcrunch writes that thanks to the PPL initiative, it should be possible with most e-shops. Overcoming difficulties in returning items that don’t fit or don’t work as expected is seen as one of the best ways to increase further the percentage of purchasing done online in the Czech Republic. Now, all online consumers will have to do is print out a return label and bring the unwanted item to one of 2,000 PPL pick-up points around the country.
