Via FAOC, which operates the Fashion Arena Prague Outlet has convinced a Prague court to revoke an injunction against a clause in its lease contracts forbidding tenants from signing leases in similar centers within a certain distance of the Prague 10 center. The court reversed the injunction (issued by a lower court) having found that sufficient legal grounds had not been provided by Fashion Arena’s new competition, writes the weekly Týden. “We’re very pleased that the supreme court in Prague confirmed our position in such a short period of time. We believe that the temporary injunction would be revoked because it’s a completely normal practice in our sector all across Europe,” said Lenka Čapková, director of the outlet mall, according to the weekly magazine Týden. She said the clause had been used since the mall was opened. The magazine reports that the injunction had been sought by a new outlet mall being built near the Prague airport, on the other side of the city.
