Primark’s shop in central Prague is just the first step in the company’s expansion into the Czech Republic. Hospodářské noviny writes that Brno residents will no longer have to drive all the way to Vienna to pick up cheap clothing, as the Irish fashion chain is looking for space in one of the city’s shopping centers. HN claims to have reliable information that discussions are most advanced with Brno’s Olympia mall. It also writes that Primark is considering opening another store in Prague in addition to its 6,000 sqm flagship on Wenceslas Square. The second store would most likely be in a shopping mall, according to HN.
