The popular discount retailer Primark is coming to Prague. While the company already operates a warehouse in western Bohemia that serves its German and Austrian markets, it’s been looking for a location for a large store in the Czech capital for some time. Hospodářské noviny reports that potential locations included the former ČSOB building at Na Příkopě 14, the Savarin project in the lower block of Wenceslas Square and the new Květinovy dům scheme above it at the corner of Opletalova. It’s the last of these, however, that’s considered to be by far the most likely, according to market sources.
