Prodplast Imobiliare is investing €2m into the infrastructure in Bucharest’s Obor district where it is developing the Veranda shopping center. Works include widening the road, improving the sidewalks and moving the tram station. The developer also plans to make improvements to the the area’s sewerage system and remove electricity poles.
“We are also building 1,200 parking spaces for the visitors of the Obor commercial area, thus contributing to traffic decongestion in an overcrowded area,” said Andrei Pogonaru of Prodplast Imobiliare.
The upgrades will take approximately two months. The shopping center is set for completion in Q4 2016. Veranda will offer 30,000 sqm for shops, restaurants and cafes as well as a 15,000 sqm green area.
