Profi is opening two new supermarkets today in the cities of Iasi and Satu Mare with a third one set to open Sunday in Galati.
The new 552 sqm store in Iasi is located on Dacia Boulevard, while the 600 sqm Satu Mare store, the first Profi in the city, will be located on Decebal street. The 700 sqm store in Galati will open in the Siret complex.
Profi, owned by Enterprise Investors, ended last year with a €214.5m turnover, a 29 percent increase since 2010, said Pawel Musial, general manager of Profi Rom Food. The company now has 132 stores in 81 cities in Romania.
