Publix buys out W. Palm Beach Shoppes at Andros Isle

Lakeland -based Publix Super Markets has acquired another retail center it anchors. This time the company picked up the Shoppes at Andros Isle in West Palm Beach for $14.7 million. Located at 8989 Okeechobee Blvd., the shopping center totals 80,047 square feet, with 51,972 square feet leased by Publix. The seller, Global Andros, a Sunrise-based company managed by retail investor Doron Valero, bought the property in 2014 for $11 million. The sale price equates to $184 per square foot for the retail asset.
