PulteGroup acquires land for townhome development in Palm Springs

9 February 2017

PulteGroup has picked up 19 acres of undeveloped land in Palm Springs, a suburban neighborhood of Palm Beach County, for $5 million. The builder plans to construct a townhome community, called Preston Square, under its Pulte Homes brand. With prices starting at around $250,000, the property will feature 164 residences with attached garages and three-bedrooms. The asset is located at 2406 S. Congress Ave. between Forest Hill Boulevard and 10th Avenue, less than a mile from I-95 and accessible to downtown West Palm Beach.

“The design allows us to maximize efficiency while providing a comfortable living experience at a price point that is in reach for young professionals and families,” said Brent Baker, Pulte Group’s southeast Florida division president. “This purchase fits with our strategy of building within established, core urban areas that are close to transportation corridors, shopping centers, and close to where people work.”
