Redan expects increase in profits this year

18 August 2014

Bogusz Kruszyński, deputy CEO of the Polish clothing retailer Redan, expects to see the company back in the black by the end of 2014. He adds, however, that profits remain strongly dependent on future developments on the Russian and Ukrainian markets.

“We have been quite satisfied with the sales of our fashion sector on the Polish market over the past few months, and we expect sales for the new autumn collection, which is already selling in our stores across the country, will continue to increase in the coming months,” Kruszyński told the business website parkiet.pl. “The key issue for us at the moment remains the devaluation of the hryvnia, which continues to negatively impacting our overall sales at the moment.”
