Unibail-Rodamco has completed the modernization of the Aupark shopping center in Bratislava. The redesign cost €15.5m and the center is set to reopen on Thursday. The owner gave the center a thorough facelift after 13 years in operation and seven years after its expansion. One of Unibail-Rodamco’s goals was to make orientation in the center easier for shoppers but it was also making center to comply with four-star SGS certification standards. Saguez & Partners prepared the center’s new design in cooperation with Aupark’s architect, Jančina architekti. The BREEAM-certified shopping center has attracted new brands, including La Martina, MAC, Timberland, Pandora, Silvian Heach, CHAPS by Ralph Lauren and Coccinelle. The food court will also offer higher quality restaurants.
