Renovation work on the Praktiker hypermarket in Ruse, northern Bulgaria, has been completed. The DIY store’s home and garden section has been expanded and will offer more than 40,000 products. MSK AD oversaw the renovation and modernization.
Ruse Mayor Plamen Stoilov and Todor Belchev, the chairman of Videolux Holding, the company that acquired Praktiker’s Bulgarian network in 2014, officially cut the ribbon at the opening ceremony.
Videolux Holding’s portfolio includes nine hypermarkets: two in Sofia and one each in Plovdiv, Varna, Burgas, Ruse, Stara Zagora, Pleven and Veliko Tarnovo. Videolux Holding is renovating existing Praktiker stores and has started looking for locations to build new stores. The company recently opened a new Praktiker store in Varna.
