Retail prices in Macedonia down 1.2% in October

Prices on the Macedonian retail market fell 1.2 percent y-o-y in October and 0.2 percent m-o-m, according to the State Statistical Office. Food prices increased by about 1 percent, with the exception of fruit and vegetable prices, which have decreased by about 8.7 percent.
Prices for footwear, furniture, solid fuels, medicine, tourism services, jewelry and education also increased in October.

Living expenses have fallen by an average of 0.5 percent y-o-y, according to the statistics.
