Retail turnover up 9.7% in Romania

Retail turnover on the Romanian market increased by 9.7 percent y-o-y in September, according to the National Statistics Institute. The figure does not include motor vehicle and motorcycle sales.

On a m-o-m basis, turnover fell by 3.3 percent in September. In the first nine months of the year, retail turnover, excluding motor vehicle and motorcycle sales, increased by 15.5 percent y-o-y, according to the latest figures.
