The Mutu family of local entrepreneurs, which owns food retailer Annabella and canned food producer Raureni, will invest EUR 5 million in the group’s second retail park, to be located in Râmnicu Vâlcea. The first project of this kind was recently inaugurated in Horezu in the same county of Valcea.
The shopping centre, which will be called Annabella Retail Park and will be located on Dem Rădulescu Boulevard, will cover an area of over 7,000 sqm (rentable space) and will house 12 shops, as well as restaurants and leisure areas, including a playground. The food anchor store will be Annabella.
The opening is expected to take place in the third quarter of 2024, but some of the retail space has already been leased since the design phase.
