West Palm Beach-based Richman Group has acquired a 2.2 acre site in Miami’s Edgewater neighborhood for $30 million. The property is located at 2701 Biscayne Blvd. near the southeast corner of Northeast 28th Street and Biscayne Boulevard. Richman plans to build the Biscayne 27 apartment complex on it, featuring 330 apartments, 9,537 square feet of retail and 396 parking spaces. Several homes on the site will have to be removed to make way for the 467,680 sqf, eight story high rise which was designed by Corwil Architects. The tract of land was sold by Boca Raton-based Encore Housing Opportunity Fund.
