Czech online supermarket Rohlík.cz will start offering its services to an additional five cities. It will supply Pilsen, Liberec, Ústí nad Labem, Hradec Králové and Pardubice, bringing its catchment to 2.5 million people. Czech households spent CZK 3bn shopping for groceries and non-alcoholic beverages over the Internet last year. Rohlík.cz will service its customers from a new warehouse in Prague-Horní Počernice. The sector is growing increasingly competitive in the Czech Republic, with other e-supermarkets expanding as well. Kolonial.cz is accessible to 3 million shoppers in Prague, Central Bohemia, Pilsen, Rokycany, Hradec Králové and Pardubice. Košík.cz has a catchment of 5.5 million, having launched deliveries in Chomutov, Most, Hradec Králové, Olomouc, Brno, Přerov, Ostava and Frýdek-Místek in December.
