The export volume on the Romanian market hit €13.8463bn, while imports totaled 15.8125bn in the first three months of the year, according to the recently published data.
The country’s trade deficit for the quarter increased to €1.9662bn, up by €589.3m from the same three-month period last year. In March, exports totaled €4.9174bn, while imports amounted to €5.8913bn, resulting in a deficit of €973.9m.
