Rosehill Investments in reported acquisition of Galeria Młociny

18 November 2014

Backed by Griffin Real Estate, Rosehill Investments has reportedly taken over the Galeria Młociny project in Warsaw. According to Polish media reports, Griffin Real Estate backed the developer in the transaction, providing €46m through its new Griffin Property Finance II debt fund. Rosehill representatives refused to comment on the reports.

Griffin Real Estate revealed earlier in November that it had granted a €46m senior mortgage-backed loan through its debt fund to Rosehill Investments for a 51,000 sqm land acquisition. Griffin Property Finance II will also cover the pre-construction costs involved in preparing the land for the new retail center. No further details about the project were disclosed. The mall was designed by the Stefan Kuryłowicz architectural office. The project obtained a zoning permit last year.
