Deerfield Beach-based Rosemurgy Properties has acquired The Shops on South Howard in South Tampa for $10.55 million. Located at 533 S. Howard Ave., the property is surrounded by residential developments and pedestrian traffic from South Howard Avenue. Built in 1987, the 21,828 square-foot center traded for just over $483 per square foot. National tenants in the retail scheme include Chipotle Mexican Grill, Koto Japanese Steakhouse, Jimmy John’s, GNC, Edward Jones and The Optic Shop. The seller, St. Petersburg-based Cardinal Point Management, bought the asset in 2010 for $5.3 million.
